I recently read about the Greatest Commandment and wondered why loving God is placed at the center of Christian teaching. The commandment calls believers to love God with their heart, soul, mind, and strength. This suggests that devotion should involve a person's entire life rather than being limited to occasional religious practices. The Greatest Commandment encourages faith, trust, obedience, gratitude, and sincere devotion. I think the wording also shows that love for God is intended to influence thoughts, decisions, relationships, and actions. It is not simply about saying that you believe; it is about allowing that relationship to shape the way you live.
